Andrea Austin is a senior member of Edict Incorporated in Rochester, Michigan. She has over ten years of experience in requirements gathering, problem solving and transforming ideas into highly attractive and usable interfaces.
Experience
Andrea comes from a three dimensional and print art background. She has exhibited in solo art exhibitions and numerous juried shows displaying print, photography and sculpture. Her leadership skills are partly derived from her experience as Captain of the Michigan State University Women’s Rugby Team.
Upon joining Edict, she directed her talents toward user interface design and has adapted them as the web has evolved. She is responsible for the UI and logo design for some of Edict’s most successful projects.
In addition to graphics, Andrea devotes substantial resources to project management and requirements gathering. She has served as lead Project Manager for numerous Fortune 500 projects.
Expertise
Andrea is expert in industry-standard design tools and technologies including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe In-Design, HTML and CSS. She is proficient in integrating her work product into development environments such as Microsoft’s ASP and ASP.NET.
