Let's see...the Pontiac Silverdome just sold for $583,000.
As horrible as the Detroit Lions are, there are thousands of fans here in Metro Detroit that would love to get their hands on some Lions memorabilia.
At the very least, let's say you put the 80,000 seats up for sale for only $10 a piece. This (a total bargain compared to the $100 per-seat price they got for the old Tiger Stadium seats) would get you $800,000. That's a profit of $217,000!
Now, you're left with a huge building with plenty of steel to scrap. Sounds like the deal of the century!
